As the Nov. 5 trade deadline looms, the NFL is going receiver crazy with teams making big moves on the perimeter. The Kansas City Chiefs made headlines on Wednesday by trading for DeAndre Hopkins, giving up a fifth-round pick that could potentially turn into a fourth-rounder to the Tennessee Titans. This move came shortly after the Buffalo Bills acquired Amari Cooper from the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 15.
Not to be outdone, the New York Jets also got in on the action by picking up Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders the same day. With the trade deadline still two weeks away, there is plenty of time for more deals to be made, especially among contenders looking to bolster their rosters.
Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions are in desperate need of help for their pass rush after losing star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson for the season due to a broken lower leg. The team will be looking to make some moves to address this issue before the deadline.
With all these trades happening, it’s certainly an exciting time in the NFL as teams gear up for the second half of the season. Stay tuned for more updates on all the latest deals and moves as they happen.
